Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur was born October 26, 1983. She is an American journalist, author, and broadcast journalist, who works as an NBC News correspondent. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. Since 2021, she hosts Katy Tur Reports. Tur has also reported for the NBC news platforms Early Today, Today, NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.

 

 Early life

 Tur is the daughter Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur. She attended Brentwood School (2001), and also from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2005) with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. She is Jewish.
